Bio
Elizabeth writes the story that needs to be told by trusting her instincts for a good narrative.
She is a strong and sensitive interviewer. With a background in journalism and years of asking uncomfortable questions as a professional psychotherapist, she knows how to drill down to the nugget of the story.
Her education includes a BA in English from Boston University, an MSW in Clinical Social Work from Boston University, an MS in Conservation Biology from Antioch New England Graduate School, and an MFA from Lesley University in Creative Non-Fiction. She also holds a certificate in Non-profit Leadership and Management from the Boston University School of Management.
She has been writing feature, news and sports stories as a freelance writer since 2010. She has been published in the Newburyport Daily News, Northshore Jewish Journal, Boston Globe Magazine, Newburyport Current and Newburyport Magazine.
In 2019, she co-wrote a Living on Earth podcast called Sammy and the Graneers with ventriloquist and children’s storyteller Lesley Smith.
A chapter Elizabeth wrote for Today’s Wonder Women: Everyday Superheroes Who Are Changing the Wolrd, edited by Asha Dahya is due to be published by Ixia Press in March 2020.
